19 months

Here's a photo of Gabe on Super Bowl Sunday. He wasn't too thrilled to hear that the Patriots were not playing!

Here's one of Gabe trying on Daddy's big hat. He has a thing for hats and will just put them on whenever he finds one. What's up with the hand gestures he makes?

Modeling giraffe ears from Great Aunt Sue and Great Uncle Bill. He'll find them and just make a funny face just about everytime he puts on the ears. It's so funny to see. Most of the time he doesn't get them on his head, but rather around his neck.

Excited about rolling balls back and forth with Mommy and Daddy. He must locate all of the balls in a room before he'll begin playing. This was him locating the jumbo beach ball.

This was Gabe when I asked him to stand still so I could take a picture. He just needs a superhero costume to go along with that stance.

Playing peek-a-boo from inside his Diego pop up tent. It was a gift he got for Christmas and didn't really care about until now.

Another Diego tent photo. He loves to crawl through it really fast. The only downfall is STATIC!

Prince Charming wearing snap beads on his head. He loves his snap beads at home and the ones at the bookstore. This photo was taken at Joseph Beth Booksellers in Lexington.

Back to work...

Today was my first day back to work since Wednesday, December 17th. I needed more time off to recover from my time off! We took a mini vacation to Sevierville, TN to visit some of the sites in Gatlinburg, TN and to go to the new indoor waterpark at the hotel where we were staying, "Wilderness at the Smokies". We had a great time despite the attitude of the staff. The hotel staff was completely unaware of any of the waterpark details. You see...the grand opening was December 19th. We arrived the evening of December 18th so we'd be there for all the festivities. Haha...there weren't really any festivities, but it was fun. Along with out hotel stay we recieved 1 complimentary ticket to the Ripley's Aquarium and 2 other Ripley's attractions. We did go to the aquarium and the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum, but we did not go to a third attraction. The entire weekend of fun was starting to take its toll on Gabe and he was not the happy little camper he normally is. We decided to call it a weekend and head home. It was perfect timing since it was just about nap time. Luckily, it was just a three hour car ride and Gabe slept for a little more than half of it. Here are a few pictures from the waterpark for your enjoyment. More pictures to come later.

Thanksgiving Day

It sure it bright out...

Gabe wouldn't keep his sunglasses on but he was OK wearing Mommy's on the way to storytime where we saw the ducks on the frozen pond outside of the bookstore.

Santa Mail

We took Gabe to Macy's to mail a letter to Santa.

Sock Puppets

You're so silly. Everytime you see your socks you want to put them on your hands. We always play the game and eventually you let us put the socks on your feet where they belong.
